Printing House FINIDR is the largest book producer in the central Europe with annual production of 24 million books and with 33 million EUR turnover. 80% of production is exported.

Masaryk University Press is one of the most productive academic publishers in the Czech Republic and member of European Association of University Presses. Our Czech and foreign-language publications cover a broad spectrum of disciplines from humanities to social science and medicine.
The publishing house was established in the year 1953, formerly as the publishing house of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences. The name Academia has been used since 1966. OTTOVO nakladatelství is a publishing house from Prague. Its early history belongs to 19th century when publisher Jan Otto established it. Although its production was interrupted for a few times, today´s Ottovo reestablished in early 90“ tries to continue in the initial tradition of Otto´s books intended for wide public. Ottovo is a company from the Czech Republic with subsidiary company in Slovakia. We publish about 100 titles per year in the two languages, both original and translated titles.
Karolinum Press, part of Charles University, publishes scholarly monographs, journals, and textbooks. Our independent series present prestigious publications on the history and art history, language textbooks, and disciplinary and interdisciplinary series, including translations of foreign books focusing on literary science, history of culture, linguistics, and philosophy. Our special projects include books on Prague and Modern Czech Classics, particularly foreign languages translations.
LEDA Publishing House
LEDA Publishers has a stable and well-respected position as one of the largest publishers in the Czech Republic and as the only Publisher of language-related books and software for 30 different languages.
